Macy McPherson

This file shows the final design that my group of four people submitted

to the Vans Shoe Design Contest. We were given the prompt of technology in design, and while the rest of the class created patterns that could be used on pairs of Vans shoes, we created a campaign poster that they could use to promote our prompt.

The whole process of how we put this together was honestly more

interesting than the actual design. Each group member was challenged with coming up with our own thumbnail sketches and rough drafts before we could bring all of our ideas together into one final design. My design played some role in the final product, but all of my teammates had parts that made it in as well, which was  incredible.

Anna Santos, the person who put together the final design, made sure

that she incorporated design aspects from each of the members of the group, and the final design came out great because of it. The teamwork and use of ideas that are gained from others was one of the main things that I learned from this really cool project.
