I was given an honorable mention for my work in the 2018 Public Education Foundation Holiday Card Contest. With the yearly theme of "What the World Needs Now," I immediately saw an opportunity to showcase something that I think the world could use a whole lot more of: love. I showcased two hands from different races holding different sides of the same earth, showcasing that, while they are from different places and backgrounds, we are all from the same planet and have the same overarching goals for life. I also added the text "love" to make my theme clear, and added some hearts to complete the look.
