ABOUT ME
My name is Macy McPherson and I am a Digital Media major at West Career and Technical Academy. I consider myself to be a lot of things, but before high school, creative was never really one of them. Running, soccer, and school have always been the biggest aspects of my life, but I am excited to introduce photography and graphic design to that list. I consider myself to be, overall, a very energetic, enthusiastic, and determined person, and I will do anything to make sure that what I need to be done is done. My favorite things to do in my free time are run, hang out with my friends, and write stories.
Being able to participate in programs and classes such as Graphic Design, Photography, and Video Production in which I am creating my own work from scratch has introduced me to the creative and innovative side that I have unintentionally kept hidden for almost my entire life. Seeing what I have been able to do in these courses, even if I have only participated in them for a short period of time, has been absolutly amazing for both my creative side and my overall self esteem. Knowing that I am able to create beautiful things, works of art that no one else has ever or will ever be able to duplicate perfectly has made me much more aware and proud of my accomplishments. I can't wait to see how much farther I go in the Digital Media strand!
