For this assignment, I had to take a photo of myself with a special "homemade" light source and then turn it into a final composite that was both unique and creative. I chose to use an orb or sorts that is positioned right outside my house. Not only did this orb provide a good source of light so that it looked like I was directly controlling the light, but it also illuminated my face in a ghastly and interesting way. I first shot the photo, and then brought it into Adobe Photoshop to add a bunch of stars both on and around me. I reduced my opacity as well so that it looks like I am holding one of the stars as well as blending in to the rest of the galaxy. I am overall very proud of this project because I used multiple skills both in shooting and editing it that allowed me to achieve the interesting and mystical effect that I was going for.
