The emotion centered on in this portfolio piece is lust. The subject is looking longingly into the camera, her deep eyes tempting and her facial expression practically blank. While her facial expression alone can be described as seductive, it is the colors that actually bring out the deeper meanings behind the photo. The underlying red tones suggest that there is something to this image that is not what it seems. Red is a color associated with anger, power, and most prevalently in this piece, seduction. The lightening of her eyes when mixed with the deep, swirling colors of the sunset make her "goal" of seduction and temptation much more obvious. The addition of color to the image makes it much harder for the model to hide her emotions, especially in the case where the color is amplified.
