MOVIE POSTER
For this project, I had to make my own movie poster based off of an existing one. I chose to base mine off of the horror film "The Guardian" and made it more relatable to the students at our school, giving it the title of "The Stress." I first shot for the project, which was a bit difficult because the only lights I had to work with were those of 3 phones. I then brought the image into Adobe Photoshop to edit it and give it more of a ghastly glow. I then moved into Adobe Illustrator, where I created the creative typography for the title as well as the tagline and the credits. I created all of these just based off of what was on the original poster, trying my best to match the fonts and make it look as real as possible.
I feel as though this project turned out pretty well. While I think the picture itself could be improved upon, I think I worked well enough with what I had access to. My credits were legible and included everything that was on the original poster. I am proud of the work that I was able to create using all of my own work and software programs.
