RETRO POST CARD

This retro post card was a Photoshop project that I was assigned that

required me to find a bunch of photos that represented (in some way) me as a person, and then incorporate those photos into the letters of my name. The final product was made out to look like a retro post card for a town of my name that represents me.

I had to utilize many techniques in Adobe Photoshop to get the pictures

inside each letter. I had to utilize many layer masks, mess with the opacity of each so that I would be able to see the letter and how it turned out, and crop the photo so that it would fit perfectly inside the designated letter. The font for "Macyville" was actually designed in Adobe Illustrator, so I had to bring that into Photoshop to use for the project. Many skills were needed for the completion of this project.

I feel, overall, very proud with the way the final product turned out. It is a

mesmerizing design and pattern with the letters that makes the product visually appealing, and each and every one of the pictures represents me in some was, as well as supporting the theme of the town: "land of the innovators."
