Professional Headshots

I partnered up with a fellow student, Brain Darvey, so that we could both practice our skills in taking headshots as well as have a professional one to display on our website (see my About Me page for the one Brian took of me). This project entailed a lot of trial and error, messing around with the studio lights in order to get the best possible outcome. When working in the studio, there are often some unwanted shadows or a heavy glare if the lights aren't positioned in exactly the right position, and this project forced me to work around those hardships. I also had to bring the photo into Adobe Photoshop in order to remove any blemishes, make sure the color was all correct, and the balance between the light and dark portions of the photo were accurate. Overall, I think these photos turned out very professional, and I am ecstatic that I have one like them of myself to display on my website and resume.
