MAGAZINE COVER

For this project, I had to replicate the format of a magazine cover in my own way with my own cover photo and tagline. I replicated an issue of Vogue, retitling it to be called McFierce, a play on my last name as well as that of my sister, who is featured in the photo. I started by shooting the photo, then editing it in Adobe Photoshop until it contained the right colors that I was going for in my design. I also removed blemishes from the photo and made it look the best that it could. I then added my creative title in Adobe Illustrator and created the type for all of my headlines, placing a drop shadow behind it. I added all of the aspects of the movie poster, including the title, author's credit, barcode, main article titles, and other snapshots of what is inside.

Of the projects I have created this year, this one is probably what I am the most proud of. I think it came out looking very professional and actually resembles a real movie poster. I hope to put out more work looking like this in the future.
