The emotion showcased in this series is envy. The subject is looking off screen, side-eying something that is not visible in the photo, but it is apparent that she wants to have whatever it is that she is looking at. This piece was built off of the expression "green with envy," because the greens are incredibly prevalent in this photo, and as the color gets more prominent, it is easier to see how jealous she really is. The green aura present in the background makes it seem as though she is lost in her own mind, swimming in the jealousy and envy that she has inside her.
