This piece centers on happiness, brought out by the clear yellow tones and highly saturated accent pieces. The model's facial expression does not give much away, as in the first photo without color she seems to almost be looking longingly into the sunset, but the addition of the color associated most with happiness makes it clear that she is, in fact, happy. Her inner feelings of joy are exposed to the world simply because of an addition of color and a focus on one specific color, whereas she may be able to hide her emotions better in black and white. Color exposes her true self, inner thoughts, and feelings, showcasing her to the world and allowing her to better express herself, even if she doesn't say it outright.
