Product Photography
For this assignment, I had to shoot a product in a studio setting, just like companies would do if they were to advertise that product. I used the strobe setting to shoot the product, my Victoria's Secret Perfume, and made sure to use a reflective black surface to get the mirror image of the product as well as the original. I shot using what I learned about the studio lighting and then brought this into Camera Raw to do some cropping and color adjusting, blending the foreground and background together, and a few more quick tweaks. I also continued this in Photoshop until I achieved the result that I wanted. I then turned this final product into an AD that could actually be used to promote it by continuing to color adjust and adding type. This product shoot can be useful to me in the real world because this is a certain type of photography in the field.
