The photos that are portrayed in this gallery are the ones that I took during a field trip to the Neon Boneyard. I am so glad that I was given the opportunity to participate in this field trip. First of all, I could practice taking good photos of some very unique and very special artifacts to my city. All of the signs in the Neon Boneyard represented something that is or once was in Las Vegas, and it was so cool to be able to document that. In addition to this, all of the different colors and positions forced me to try out different shutter speeds and apertures, which was monumental in regards to helping me develop as a photographer. Overall, I am very proud of the images that I captured and the lessons I learned on my off-campus trip to the Neon Boneyard, and I am very thankful for the opportunity to participate in and document this.
